I saw an interesting post from a forum. :)

Celebrating cycles and special occasions is a woman's way of counting the joy and marking the growth of love.

Time is often the very centre of a woman's love life ;

If u examine the disagreements, conflicts and quarrels, you'll discover perhaps to ur surprise, that many of them have to do with time. Some examples would be:

1) Conflict over giving time

  • Disagreeing how much time you've spend together
  • Disagreeing in keeping in touch, phonecalls, etc

2) Conflict over remembering time

  • Forgetting to perform promised tasks, eg, making reservations or passing a msg
  • Forgetting an impt event
  • Forgetting to inform her abt something that affects the future. Eg, going for biz trip

3) Conflict of respecting time

  • Being late
  • Procrastinating abt doing the things u say u will do
  • Diminishing the significance of an event a woman think is impt

4) Conflict over planning time

  • Waiting until last min to make plans
  • Criticizing ur partner for wanting to plan in advance

5) Conflict over celebrating time

  • Disagreeing on how to celebrate special occasions
  • Disagreeing on what constitutes to a special occasion
  • Forgetting birthdays, anniversaries,etc

Time is something woman are very intimate with, and therefore something woman honour and hold sacred

Woman have a sacred relationship with time

It is programmed in the woman's biology. They are natural timekeepers

Since when woman are young they began counting, as their body cycles in a monthly rhythm(menstrual). It is where they first learn their habit of counting.

Men however don't do it.

The counting and watching of time continues through their lives as they get pregnant, the stages of birth, the growth of a child, the feeding and meal time etc

Woman experience each increment of time as lasting longer then men experience the same increment of time. Eg; dog's life span vs humans

So advices for guys out there,

when you don't seem to be aware of how much time had passed since you last spoke to woman, or last seen her, or spend special time with her, or when u forget impt events in time, woman will end up feeling like you don't care
